The Tucson Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, is pleased to announce that our Betty Brown Scholarship Application period is NOW OPEN.

Mrs. Betty Brown was a beloved teacher and school administrator for 35 years. She spent 30 of those years working in the Tucson Unified School District in Tucson, Arizona. Upon her death in September 2000, her sorority renamed its scholarship fund in her honor. Scholarship recipients are females of Black or African American heritage. To honor her legacy, the Tucson Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have a passion to learn, a determination to succeed, and an eagerness to earn a college degree.
